Ambarya is the Sanskrit word ‘to bring together.
We bring traditionally and ethically handmade gemstone mala beads to people who want to make a change in their life and the lives of others.
We are returning to the idea that inner peace is found through nurturing ourselves and caring for others. We recognise that we are all connected and that to heal ourselves, we need to also consider each other.
Mother earth has formed the gemstones we use for our mala beads over thousands of years. They are a precious gift of the natural world. Each beautiful stone contains a distinctive and unique energy and has its own meaning, metaphysical properties and correspondences.
We want you to feel the positive, healing energy of our handmade gemstone mala beads. And as you receive this gift, you will also be giving back with your purchase. Ambarya supports the empowerment of underrepresented groups, especially those making a living through traditional arts and crafts practice. So each time you buy our beads, you can feel extra good by knowing you are doing good. Feel radiant wearing and meditating with your Ambarya mala beads, as a ripple of change radiates around the world.

Our mala beads are handmade by Anwar Hussain Shaikh, a sixth-generation bead maker from Khambhat, India.
Anwar has been making mala beads from crystals since he was 12 years old. His family’s been practising beadwork for over 300 years. The craft itself dates back to the ancient Indus Valley empire. That civilisation ended, but bead-making lives on.
These beads are a thread that will connect you with traditional cultures and ancient mysticism, while providing wisdom for the path ahead.
When you buy from Ambarya, you can be confident that artisans like Anwar have been paid fairly for their work and that you are making a difference for individuals and communities
Joy - Citrine Mala Bead Necklace and Bracelet Set
My gorgeous beads arrived and I absolutely love them! Thank you so much! The packaging is gorgeous and the beads are as beautiful as I hoped they would be. Not only are the Ambarya products beautiful but so, too is the mission. I will definitely be back!
Support - Moss Agate Mala Bead Necklace and Bracelet Set
When I first heard about Ambarya, I was immediately drawn to its cause - supporting artisans, giving them a way to reach new people, such as myself. I was later looking for something that would give the wearer a connection with nature, and help with mindfulness. I came across the Moss Agate beads and loved the green colour, a long necklace with bracelet, fabulous. The great photos helped me see the detail, which I really appreciate, and the easy ordering process is always welcomed.
I received the box containing the necklace and bracelet in a nice pouch, accompanying card informing the receiver the power of Moss Agate stones and a note from Ambarya, lovely touch.
Highly recommend this piece, as well as Ambarya as a social enterprise that supports and preserves artisan culture and practices from thousands of years ago. Hoping pieces for the guys will one day make an appearance :)
Received a stunning flourite mala bead set. I can't get over how heavy (in a wonderful way) the beads are and how they feel so strong and powerful. I can tell they are a top-quality product and genuine crystal. Beautifully presented and lovingly packaged, makes a perfect gift.
Patience - Howlite Mala Bead Set
Recently bought the Howlite Mala Bead Set. It was delivered really quickly and packaged so nicely, truely a lovely gift to give yourself or someone else. I'm new to understanding what beads or crystals represent, so it was so really insightful to get the explanation of what Howlite is and also to know more about the maker too. The weight of the beads not only shows the quality but I find I hold them when I'm thinking, feeling anxious or need something tactile to ground myself. Thanks Ambarya, I'll be back for more! These will make great gifts for my team at the end of the year.
Protection - Black Tourmaline Mala Bead Necklace
Gorgeous and high quality. I really love the weight of this necklace (you can really feel the quality!) and also the thoughtful way the products are packaged and presented. It was great getting the overview of the different properties of the necklace stones. I also liked getting the background on the maker and the whole purpose behind the business is fantastic. Thanks so much, love this necklace and others I have purchased for gifts ^_^

Giving young Aboriginal people access to learning hubs and free public Wi-Fi for a day. Many households don't have a computer or even a reliable power supply, so learning hubs are crucial for young people to develop their IT and literacy skills. Our impact campaign is supporting Dot Com Mob in helping build technology facilities in remote Australia.

Planting a tree via The Mango Tree Orphan Support Trust in Kenya. The project area has experienced environmental degradation as people cut trees for charcoal and firewood, harvest sand to sell leaving big sand mines and necked hills and villages with no trees. This all happens due to extreme poverty. The Mango Tree has focused in reversing this by encouraging the planting of new forest trees, in addition to income-generating fruit trees.
